Default VVTI Oil Line Burst- Warranty Refund

While on a trip to IL the oil line burst. Only later (when we stopped) do we realize that the whole rear has light oil splatter, the wheels, wells and brakes are drenched with oil. Amazingly there was a Toyota dealership 1mile away and once we got there they got to it. 2quarts of oil were left in the engine. After replacing the part, and changing the oil there was a $260 repair bill...

Talking to the service advisor he told us that the vehicle is under warranty, there was a TSB about this and forwarding the receipt to Lexus will result in a refund.

I also replaced the front brakes as oil on the brake system is a big issue. Which was later at another dealership. Again, another bill...

How would I go about getting my money back?

Cool! Seems to have worked. Turns out the recall paper was sent to the previous owner, as we weren't on there file...

Have you registered in Lexus Owner's website? Suggest that you do. Go to lexus.com. Sign up under Owners. Lots of info. But wait...Canada....maybe not.
