I test drove a 2009 CPO AWD yesterday, premium package, navigation/back up camera. Listed for $33.6K, around 33,000 miles.

How much off that should I go for? Another $1,000 - $2,000? Dealer would need to fix a couple of rattles first.

Would be my 3rd RX.

I'm looking at a 2010 with 15,000 miles, no navigation. The dealer is asking 36,000 as the "internet price" whatever that means. Seems a little high, no? I plan to offer $30,000. What would be a good amount to settle on, assuming the car is in as excellent condition as they claim? Will see the car tonight.

I think $36000 initial asking price is not high for a low mileage 2010 model.
My area's Lexus dealers are asking at least $2000 more.

You can start at $30000. Salesperson probably will say s/he can't take that to the manager b/c it's too low.
Ask salesperson how much should you add to 30K to make it presentable. See what salesperson says.

If supply of 2010 RX350 is low in your area, expect dealer to stick close to $36000.
If you can wait, come back at end of month and maybe you can get some flexibility.
