Hello,

I own a 2004 Lexus RX 330. Recently, the CD charger stopped working. When pressing the 'Load' button, the amber light flashes, switches to green, the CD loads, but it is quickly ejected.

We have removed and replaced the fuses, # 19, 25, 29 and 50. None were blown.

There are no error messages displayed.

There are not 'funny' noises.

The radio works fine. The tape player stopped working many years ago. It will not play any tapes.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what could be the problem and how to fix it?

It may simply have worn out if you use it a lot. There are some repair services around, your unit is most likely a Pioneer. Might be time to look at aftermarket if the repair is very expensive.

Are these CD burned copies or originals?

Sounds like the loading mechanism went bad. Consider yourself lucky, at least it's nice enough to give your CD back and not eat it like I've seen so many before.

Send it off to have the original repaired. Plenty of discussions on this topic. Just search.
