The one in the parking structure is a better pic unless they can get the fat guy and the apartments and the no parking sign out of the background on this one.

Well this one was an outdoor car show. Mine was in a much better environment and set up a tad better. He shot that hand held I had to set up a huge tripod and take test shots over and over lol! This shot was prob more wide angle and has been processed. Mine have not really been touched yet. Dunno if I will or not. Mine also have a hell of allot more depth just in the fine alone if you really look at them. That really is here nor there in terms of liking a photo.

So here are the final two versions I am willing to submit on short notice.
Subtle differences. One looks more film like in it's colors the other #2 has less contrast but is more accurate in color. I actually uploaded high rez files and told them to pick one of the two.

Yes why I gave them two options. I am assuming it will not be being printed on laser color paper but hey you never know with some things. It's Monday and I have not heard back form them yet. Today was their deadline and important paperwork info I asked Q's about have not been answered. I am hoping they don't beat around the bush. I need to call them cause it's later there than it is hear.

Got the clarification email. I just think they are not as experienced as I am at legal wording or anyone questioning them lol! Aftermarket car industry can inherently shady.

So it seems those photos were too busy and did not seem to be about the car enough?
So I took these while I still had time at the SEMA show in Vegas. At least I tried. Lots of guys sending snapshots they say.

Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead:
These guys are common auto shop types. No follow through. I have submitted a photo for this calendar and never got my copy. They are profiting from a photo I took and all they had to do was follow through with a copy. Most don't complain. But I am.
For my shoots I charge $1,000 a day. They used my photo in a calendar for national sales! Maybe international. I let them use the photo free of charge so they could use my car in the calendar. This was the agreement with all the submissions. I never got one. it's been MONTHS. How typical. What since November??
I have it in my right as the sole owner of the image and only one with copyright protection under the federal government to use this photo. NO ONE by law can use it without my consent. This is not a criminal offense it's a monetary issue. So I can sue for the money I would charge and have them stop production of the calendar plus my lawyer fees OR Sue for tens of thousands if not more. This is how the law is set since I registered my photos with the federal copyright office before the agreement was signed and printed.
They are obviously too stupid to know or to irresponsible to care. I was very clear that I was tired of excuses on this simple matter and to have it at my house by Friday the 4th as I needed it for the once a year Toyota Corp. show in Long Beach on the 5th. ...
