Default reliable, honest lexus dealership in socal

I want to take my moms RX to a dealership to have the CEL and any other possible problems diagnosed. But I want to know if there is any honest, and reliable Lexus dealerships in the Long Beach area? I dont want to just take it to them and have them read it and start saying this and that just to make a buck since I dont have warranty anymore

please let me know.

I"m thinking of Cerritos, South Bay, Tustin, Newport, Longo, Keys, Or some other place. Maybe even Toyota if they do it. Thanks.

longo is very popular. go to autozone/advance auto etc, they can check cel for free. write down the cel afterwards.

Default Dealership

I bought mine from Lexus Of Riverside. And didnt have any problems.

But for any non warranty work like oil changes. I took it to the local Toyota Dealer. Saved over 50 percent on the cost of the dealership.

sweet nice to know *thumbs up*

well, the car has no more warranty, but i'm thinking of just buying a third party extended warranty w/ $100 deductible. It'll cover up to 3/yrs or 100k miles

Take it to a good indy mech. Here are two recommendations from the socal section near long beach.

What a question.... Relaible maybe, honest!?!?! Hardly. Might get lucky and get a place that is not going to add to much to the bill but nothing in the industry really is about honestly.

I go to Lexus of Glendale for some things but end up finding cheaper options if I can. Lexus of Glendale I hear is under investigation for too many insurance claims. There goes the Honesty part right out the window. Longo Lexus is just Longo Toyota.

I would expect service AND a relatively similar rate to other Lexus dealers but not "honesty". One example is the Lexus Glendale quoted me $2,100 to fix my front differential, Toyota was $2,500. Lexus of Beverly Hills $2,800.

Who the heck is making the estimates lol!
