Default Overhead Console Box

The overhead console box where you put your sunglasses will not stay closed. Has anyone fixed this problem?

It has to do with the spring not catching. You will need to take it apart to fix.

I just pull it back down after I open it. Like second nature now. Once it is pulled down, mine latches fine. Just figured it was getting worn after almost eight years of having it's putton pushed. I never realy considered taking it apart... I figure I would break something else taking it apart.

I have to say I have never used it for putting my sunglasses in. My glasses go everywhere I go and never stay in the car.

We have the same issue in our RX. I haven't taken the time to look at it but it was annoying the first few times, but then I got used to pulling the catch piece down so it latches. Some day...
