I had a small accident and the driver's side needs to be replaced. (LH)
I've read about HID, Auto Leveling etc. - but have no clue which ones are on my car. I can say it does the little "light dance" when starting up the car - the lights will do a mechanical adjustment every time, and I can see the lights move. The running lights are yellowish, but the mains seem very blue.
The light still works fine but the cover is scratched, and the housing inside is broken in a few places and no longer holds it in place. The repair shop says $384/headlight parts only. I see them on eBay and online parts stores for $150.
Here's a pic if that helps. Which one should be used to replace?

You definitely have HID's and they auto level for sure, but the question is: do you have AFS HIDs. To find the answer to that question, look at the dash (bottom left where your knee would be while sitting in the drivers seat... You should see a push button that says "AFS Off" if you do see that button than you have AFS, if you dont see the button than you only have auto leveling HIDs... Hope that somewhat helps you identify your system...

If the lights are HID (and based on your description they are) they are definitely AFS (the "little dance")...

Yes, they are HIDs and if they do the dance, then yes, they are AFS. You can also look directly above the switch to open the fuel fill door and there should be a little round button to turn the AFS on and off. (and I mean it's immediately above, in the same little cubicle as the fuel filler door switch and the 115 volt A/C switch)
