Well that joke cost me an exhaust valve, and when my Grandfather and I re shimmed all the valves (on the old Ford Straight six, they used shims) It had some slight valve taps. Noisy motor, but they ran forever.
haha...i have rx 330, 05 too..i'm sure yours are normal..mine is normal too but that damn noise sucks..

Dead end . I try and brought it back to the shop a few times and nothing is really solved...i'll try to find a cure for it in the future....hopefully.....for now i'll just live with it or maybe push it off a cliff somewhere while no one is watching ...my experience with this brand of vehicle..is ok....i guess i have the crappy out of shape apple if you will...I would thought a brand name such as this would not have issue like this at all....some what dissappointed with this vehicle purchase...will i buy another lexus? no not really... "pursuit of perfection" just went out the door for me...my car anyway... I'll try to stay with brand new vehicle purchase from now on....just beware if you are buying pre-own vehicle...even if it's dealer certified! The technician they tried..i'll give them kuddos for that...but i'm still dissapointed with this purchase! dear lexus, can i refund?? Lol

I wish I knew exactly what noise you are referring too? What oil are you using? Mine was the absolute quietest on the Mobil-1 5W30 High Millage. Or the Castrol GTX, Pennzoil yellow bottle.
