Default Would the L badge fit?

Just wondering if the Lexus "L" would fit a grill that has the Harrier badge on it?

I think it would, because some people here have put the Harrier badge on.

I don't understand this - why devalue the vehicle in this way? Rather like all those bogans who put Chevrolet badges on Commodores.

Everyone is entitled to whatever they do to their car. By putting something like a different year grill on the car, this could devalue it as well. It's the same as people putting the Soarer badge on an SC in the US, or putting the "L" badge on a "Toyota Soarer" etc. etc. Heck I did. They are the same car at the end of the day.

Some Commodores are sold as Chevy's so hence they is a link there. People remove badges, that can devalue a car as well. Unless you buy a car new and plan to sell every few years, the car's value won't really depreciate that much by a badge.

Do whatever you want Draco, it's your car.

It's funny that many owners in Japan want to install a Lexus badge on their Harrier and in the states it's just the opposite.

That's my point - putting a Lexus badge on a Toyota makes some sort of sense in the upwardly mobile direction. But why put the badge from a cheaper brand onto a premium marque?

But I agree - each to his own. It's your car, so do what you like with it (provided it's safe).

My though was to buy a Harrier grill and install the Lexus L badge on it, not the other way around. So the question looks to have been answered that if I did indeed buy a Harrier grill, the Lexus "L" badge would fit where the Harrier badge used to sit.

Have you thought about a Thundercloud Grill with the Lexus badge?
