Trailer Hitch model interchange
I have a friend who has asked me to remove the trailer hitch from the 2010 ES 350 which she just purchased.
I have no problems doing this, but my question is whether this hitch would fit my 2007 RX-350 ?
I have welding equipment and I can modify it, if there are minor clearance problems.
I have had trailer hitches on my cars for the last 50 years and have installed and/or built all of them myself.
Thanks any info>

Welcome to Club Lexus. The part number will be stamped on the hitch. The following threads here on Club Lexus show several hitches that will work with the RX350. Don't forget to use the "search this forum" feature. Almost any question you have will most likely have already been answered.

A quick check at U-Haul shows that they would sell you two different parts for the two different vehicles. The ES is a Class 2 hitch while the RX is a Class 3 for what they sell.
They have installation instructions on their web site. Perhaps you could look at the two and make a determination from there.
