got an 2004 RX330 with Air suspension and the right front air strut is damaged. I need to replace and the new price is about a grand !!!
Can not find any used so far, so if anybody replaced the air suspension because one or more shocks failed and have a good/decent right front air strut, I'm a a buyer !!!
I'm in SC Greenville and would accept any solution or ideas to fix this issue.

If you use the search feature of the forums you will find a few threads on this topic from previous conversations to include replacing the entire system if desired.
The part alone is at least $900 discounted. Buying this part used can be problematic as you have no idea how long it would last. At least with new you have some satisfaction of the condition of the part.

Well, converting a system will cost about the same as 1 unit so its not a savings at all. If there would be two or more unit then it could make sense, but right now it is not. ![Thumb Down](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsdown.gif)
Conversion is not that simple, shocks, springs, strut mounts, spring seats, etc. all needs to be changed out.
Buying one used unit from a wrecked is not a bad option imho. It depends how much is the strut ! If they sell it for 200
then its worth it, if they want 450 for it, then its not that good ![Mad](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/mad.gif)
in my case the car was in an accident and bent the strut, so there was no issue with it nor was it defective. It is bent and also dented, has a crack on it, so it must be changed out.
I like the adjustable air shocks, but not a 1000usd much
Car is cheap to purchase, so to spend a 1000usd on each shocks is not exactly a smart decision. From the price of the 4 shocks and labor (approx 800usd) , you could almost pay for half the car ![Thumb Up](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
I paid 12k USD for the car a few months ago with 4 working shocks

The air suspension was a rare feature for the RX sold here in the states. Chances of finding a wrecked RX with this is next to zero. And, if by chance one would turn up the used parts dealers will know what they have and will charge big dollars accordingly.
