iPod, iPhone, & Music Device Audio Streaming DIY - Under $50
Hey guys, I thought I would create a tutorial for media streaming through your car audio system. I know that some of our older cars have no AUX, USB, or Bluetooth Audio Streaming built in, so adding music is not an easy task.
I made this just to show the alternatives to getting a module installed into the vehicle. Granted, doing so is a much cleaner way of doing it but can also cost up to $200 installed.

Devices Used:
-GE Cassette Adapter: ($5)
-Motorola T505 Bluetooth: ($45-60)
-Belkin VideoStand: ($10-25)
Hope this helped any of you looking to play music in your car for a small price!

Good post!
Another way to stream using bluetooth, would be to get a blackberry music gateway (yes, it works with the iPhone), and then plug that into the cassette adapter or into an AUX input (if you have the vais setup).

Cool idea! Another way that is possible is through an FM transmitter, except I had no luck with any of the ones I used.

The $5 cassette adapter, I actually like the GE one, has served me well these last few years.

That's why I installed an FM modulator on my RX300. It get's connected between the antenna and the radio so it can block out all of the radio stations when you flip the switch. It sounds great, and never had any static. Not quite CD quality, but you can't tell the difference without really paying close attention to the music.
