Does anyone know what is the best oil to use for the sun/moon roof? Mine is groaning whenever I open the sun/moon roof on tilt. Do I just oil the hinges as best as I can or is there a better spot for the oil to be added to?

First, I would clean off any old dirt and grease as best possible. Then I would add some new grease. For this I like to use an actual grease and not a lubricant spray on the moving parts. Though, you can give them a hit from some silicone spray as part of the cleaning process. Since I have an infinity for Permatex products:
Can be used on the door hinges as well. The spray white lithium IMO dries out and cakes up too frequent in the heat.
Do not forget to also use some cleaner and then a silicone spray on the rubber gasket.
Both should be easily found at your local auto parts store and if not Permatex their equivalent. I have not tried any of the new synthetic lubricants of this type, however, they should be OK as well.

My roof has a nasty groan sound as well, and I had some mechanics work on it. They spent a good 30 mins greasing it up all over and it still has the sound. I don't use the sunroof that often, but when I do it is annoying.
