as a side note, all 2006 400h's have the auxilliary transmission cooler standard. i just bought a used one last week.
another way to find out is that you can also go to cars.com or the like and simply find the year and make of your car and then look at the standard equipment section. the 2006 400h has it, the 2007 and 2008 do not.
I recently bought a 2008 RX350 and wanted to know if it had the tow package. I was putting on a Curt trailer hitch which was the best looking one I could find and stuck out a lot less than the factory one. I went to the dealer and asked them to pull up the original build sheet invoice of my Lexus as apparently they originally sold it.
They printed one out and now I have a list of all the options my RX has.

Hi everybody, I'm new to this forum.
I'm interested in an RX400 and while browsing around to better understand the car, I noticed the above sentence.
Is there any website which gives the VIN decode for these cars, showing the original options?
I'm aware of something like that for Mercedes cars, but couldn't find one for Lexus yet.
Thanks in advance!
The manual states that cars with the towing package have an 'open' emblem.
My car has an open emblem.

I've checked under the driver's side fog light and there is no radiator, but my car has the steering wheel on the right.
The passenger's side (left) does have a radiator grill visible.
Is that the radiator grill that's associated with the towing package?
Are the engine components reversed for left/right hand drive vehicles? When standing in front of the car and viewing the engine bay, the 12v battery is on the left side.
