Got an 09 RX still under factory warranty that was purchased new in the US. Recently moved from US to Canada and have the following questions regarding warranty coverage.
1) Does the roadside assistance program still apply for me in Canada?
2) Any other issues regarding warranty coverage that anyone in a similar situation has experienced?
My battery is not retaining a charge and likely needs replacement, was thinking of phoning the roadside assistance number and having them come to me for the replacement.
Would certainly be ironic if the coverage is void or unavailable as the vehicle was manufactured in Ontario! Also, returning to the US for coverage is not exactly convienient as we are in Calgary.

Call your local dealer... not corporate.
When buying US cars got big a couple years back, some manufacturers fought back without offering any warranty, or limiting it further, or not offering some perks.
I think the roadside may be transferable, but as mentioned above, i know one thing Lexus did was not give loaners to US car buyers, where a canadian purchased gets a loaner.

UPDATE - Roadside assistance does indeed cover transportation to the local dealer in Canada for a US built vehicle within the warranty period. Vehicle is currently at the dealer being looked at. They supposedly have to contact Lexus US to verify warranty coverage. I'll update everyone on the outcome once things are finalized. So far, so good!
