Hi guys
I was away for 2 weeks and the rx 350 2007 was in the garage. Prior to going away there was intermittent VSC light that had come on but I had ignored it thinking I would deal with it when I got back. Upon my return the car has lost all power and I cannot get in from remote entry.

I boosted the battery and as soon as I connected the cables (before starting the rx), the vehicle alarm went off. I stopped and went to open the driver side door as it was locked and left it ajar for me to get in. The I proceeded to boost, and the vehicle started. I let it run for about 30 minutes and took it outside the garage.

I shut it off and this am when I try to start it is dead except it has some minor power left so at least the door would open remotely.

I checked all the light switches indoors and also headlights but nothing was left on. The battery was replaced a year and half ago. Vehicle has NV and rear view camera.

Any thoughts ?Suggestions ? Advice would be helpful.

Maybe just bad luck and a bad or defective battery...I would check that first....

I agree with you, the time line is 5 years old battery should be replaced.
