Hi All
When removing a fuse from the box below the drivers kick panel, we realized that the two spade prongs had sheared off. Only the plastic end of the fuse came out.
Has anyone ever had this happen? I assume I'll need to remove the fuse box assembly? Tough project to remove and replace?
Thanks for any suggestions
Pete

well... there might be more to this... when you look at the plastic does it appear burned or as if it might have been exteremy hot ? thats a generic fuse type and in a million instances i have never seen one do what you describe so i would wonder what caused that...firstly its not that they are held in with any great frictional force and scondly if the have melted or welded themselves in there there is more to worry about.
beyond that i would think that tweezers and some good light and a magnifying glass would get those out. i would think that that fuse block may be hardwired to some degree and a real pain to get out and hold in your hand but i could be wrong about that.
i would just get my eyballs down there with some tiny gripping tool and have at it... once you get them out, look at them carefully. they should be clean and shiny... if they are brown or burned i wouldn't excat;ly just wing another fuse in there...
