Was washing my RX today when I noticed some deep gouge marks along the lower left corner at the base under the lower left taillight. Not sure where this came from and was wondering if anybody has had a similar type of mark and suggest what might be the culprit. Hoping it's accidental and nothing intentional.

Thanks for the reply RuninRoach I am starting to think that's the case too. It's just the angle that throws me off a bit, but if you account for the height of the vehicle and gravity that seems to make the most sense. Why can't people learn how to park their cars? UGH now time to find a place where I can get it repaired... Lexus dealer, Lexus certified?

There are many RX's in New York that have Nudge Bars or Bull Bars installed on them for this very reason. Below are some threads with these bars. It's an option but I don't like the look of them on the RX.

Thanks for the links Rainbird, think I might eventually get a rear bar, ugly as it is, if it saves me bodywork everytime some fool at a parking lot decides they don't know how to park.
