condensation droplets water in headlights
Ok i am muscle car builder all my life i recently bought my first lexus the rx330 and i was sold when i took it for a ride and thanx to this site i have done alot of the regular routine maintenace on it from all your postings THANK YOU!! now thats why i am posting i read on hear to seal the lights to stop the water/condensation well i sealed, resealed, and again, and absolutly no results as a matter of fact i believe it got worse!! then i realized it got worse after driving and its not even raining hmmmm which tells me the heat from engine is on back of these lights and it is trapped in the light with little to no circulation so i took the breather caps off the back and it answered my theory it got better but still not totally dry so now i drilled 6 small 3/16 holes in front of light on bottom and havn't had a drop of moisture in the rain or the morning dew it works great and what a relief with the price tag of these vfs housings so in my eyes they need more circulation inside the clear lense area cause they are trapped with hot engine heat i have pics of what i did in the photo section
