Rough and tight suspension?

I've own many fixed up cars and this rx feels and rides like a lowered car with a tight bounce on all the bumps and cracks on the road. Is this ride supposed to be like this? I thought it would be a soft luxurious smooth quiet ride. Any thoughts please?
