Default RX330 on CNBC

A nice shot of the 330 along with the LX and GX. CNBC has been covering the auto show all day. Showed shot of the 330 in white with what looked like a black spoiler. However, the CNBC correspondant at the show referred to the RX line as the Lexus SUV for women.................

Anyone wanna take over my lease? only 2000 miles on my RX300.

I feel like I should be wearing a skirt now.

Howie,

The first two years the RX was out, I called it a chick's car (I drove an Expedition at the time). Then I drove my sister's RX while visiting her in NJ and was hooked. I now have a 2002 White Gold RX with Nav, Xenon's and Spoiler. I couldn't be happier. We got rid of my wife's stupid minivan and she now drives the Expedition (which we still need anytime we take someone in addition to our family of 5 or when we tow the boat).

I bet you love your RX too.

Nah I wouldnt say its a gurls car. If anything the ML320 is more like a gurls car. I see all kinds of people driving an RX. Although my mom has an RX I still dont really think its purely a gurls car. More of a unisex car. Sometimes I think its more of a gurls car but when driving it it doesnt really seem like that at all. Plus who cares its a badass SUV.

Thanks for the input. Time will tell. Of course I am kidding when I asked if anyone wanted to takeover the lease. With only 2000 miles on it since Aug 31, I have no way to make an educated judgement on how I feel. I love the look, the ride and the interior.
I Have a 2000 Durango going back to Dodge off lease on Thursday. I think my timing was right with Lexus as I went in just to begin looking around with 4 months left on my Durango lease. They wanted to move the 2002 out so fast in August to make room for the 2003. Not only did they give me a killer deal on the Lexus lease, but they also paid off the last 4 months of my Durango lease. I have been driving the leased Durango since Aug 31 free and clear. Piling up the mileage on that. Fortunately (or maybe unfortunately) NJ being a commuter state and me working in NYC, I dont drive much at all during the week. Railroad is less than 2 miles away and I have an older vehicle that I use to leave at the train station. Still 2200 miles short of the limit on the Durango and 2 days to go. Hate giving it back with so much extra mileage but have no choice now.
Thats why only 2000 miles on a 4 1/2 month old RX. That will change soon I am sure.

Its a big difference going from the Durango to the RX but in truth, I am not ready to put that skirt on yet.......................
