Need advice on changing out the speakers
I have a 2007 RX 350 and I would like to change out the speakers with some aftermarket ones. I've been given several different stories on what size speakers I need to purchase.
Has anyone done this, and can you suggest what speakers I need to buy?
Also will I need to buy an aftermarket amp for the new speakers to work correctly? (One shop I talked to mentioned that I would because the new speakers would likely be different OMS?)
Any advice you can give would be appreciated.

if you have a mark levinson system then your choices are limited to replacing them with mark levinson speakers (otherwise you might blow your amp and then really need a new system) or the DC Gold automarine speakers (drop in perfect).
Another choice is to buy the speaker repair kit (around 30 dollars) and simply follow instructions (took me 20 mins per speaker including taking them out of door) to do. Saved me $600 so well worth it.
