2004 RX330 AC Cooling Fans Inop - Need Manual Help
OK - so my AC cuts out at idle on my 2004 RX330...neither cooling fan comes on when car is at rest so I'm pretty sure this is where my problem is. Just don't know where to go from here.
I just got a OBDLink MX reader but it shows no codes and I can't even find any air conditioning diagnostics in the software....
Does anyone have the section of the maintenance manual for the air conditioning diagnostic procedure for a 2004 RX 330?
Any help would be appreciated - have searched forum and can't find anything on my year...
Going to check the fans out first but need the rest of the info!
Thx,
Brian

It's your cooling fans. They are not running when AC is on. This is your issue. Check the connectors to the fan ECU and the fans themselves. I bet if you tap the motors with a hammer they come on. They should be running with the AC on when the clutch is engaged.
