Read all the posts, I agree with Vester in a earlier post...if you sell, sell private not trade in through a dealer. I'm actually doing that right now with my 06 Outlander, the wife is happy with her car so we don't need three. I am confident it will sell at a fair mkt price. Also, why would you consider stepping down to a 'non-luxury' car like a regular Toyota or Nissan like your earlier posts indicate. After driving a Lexus would you want to take a step back, you only live once. Maybe consider trading up to a newer slightly used RX like an 09 or 10 after someone else has taken the depreciation hit of a new vehicle. Mine retailed for $67k, I paid a fraction of that and it's still in near new condition. Wait for the the right opportunity then pounce on it!
