Default Pleas help annoying A/C prpblem

I have a problem with my A/C. Sometimes when i start it in the morning or in the afternoon the AC light is flashing and i get a control AC message.

If i turn of the ac and back on everything is working fine. It only happens after start up when the car hasent been used for mor than 12h

I changed the battery but it didnt make a differens.

Searched the form for this without finding anybody that has solved the problem.

I wonder if there is a bad relay for the compressor?

Yes it works just fine after i turn of the A/C botton and back on. I get a message that i shuld control my klimte control but it disappears after pressing the AC botton off and on. The dealer couldent find any error codes,

Why do you thinks its the relay? is it a common problem?

Not directly related, however, there is a relay up front which when you run through a puddle of water and it gets wet up in there it has a tendency trip the HVAC system much in the way you describe. I have also seen this happen after a heavy rain in which my vehicle was parked outside and I jumped in after the rain had stopped. Here in FL I am constantly resetting my AC due to all the standing water in the area. Downtown Tampa is notorious for street flooding. Read the following and especially the last post.

Perhaps there is something in there which might be of help. How is the condition of your accessory belts? Perhaps the belt is slipping at start.

Swap relay with horn relay, if the problem never returns you have solved it, otherwise at least you eliminated the relay.

Thank you guys for trying to help me out. I read the link below and espacially the last post. This happens to me when its dry outside and the sun is in on my car, then i get the flashing of the AC light when i start. I guess if its warm the AC will start directly when i start the car and thts when the relay fail.....???.....but this only happens when the car has bem of for over 8h

The drive belt seems ok .

I guess i will start with the relay?

Sorry, but there is no such animal as a 2006 RX350. Perhaps you need to check your vehicle registration.

In your profile you have entered VA for the state where you are located. Now, I understand that there is no place to enter country information, however, you could have been a bit more descriptive as so many others have done. It is important for those who wish to respond to your question should they need to take that info into consideration.
