Big Navigation Update
#16
I just bought and update disc from them but it wasn't the West Coast edition. It does away with the "I Accept" screen and starts up with a Caution screen and then automatically goes to the map screen. That was the best price I could find for the 13.1 edition and I felt good about buying it from a dealer because I know they will stand behind it if something goes wrong. Very fast shipping and I'm pleased with those guys and the product.

Pretty sure mine won't get rid of the caution screen, being a Gen 2/3 (2004 RX330). I'd like to be pleasantly surprised if and when I update to 13.1... but I think I've come to understand that the Gen 2/3 vehicles are stuck with it.

Now that I've actually used it, I'm happy with it. Handheld GPS units and even the GPS apps on smart phones have more functionality. I had an app on my iPhone that was made by Navigon, for example, that displayed the speed limit of the road that you were on. Very nice to know when you're driving in an unknown area.
This is a pretty bare-bones system. Perhaps the nav DVDs on more current vehicles are better, but this one works. And while it may not be as full-featured as other GPS devices/apps, it's nice to not have to worry about mounting a phone/device on the windshield or dash. IMO. YMMV
