changing from halogen to xenon headlights
Long time viewer, first time poster!
I'm wanting to change my headlights from the standard halogen headlights it came with originally and into the xenon headlights on my 2006 RX330. I'm just curious if I can buy an OEM used set of xenon headlight assembly's and simply plug them right into my original plugs from the old halogen assembly's?
Is this possible? I'd prefer doing this over buying an aftermarket set along with balasts etc.
Thanks,
Todd

Yes, it is possible. I did it for 2005, 2006 should be same. Just make sure you get a set that does not have moisture issue. HID ballasts don't like water. I believe 2007 models came with headlight that didn't have moisture issue. There is a thread on moisture sealing that discusses the issue and how to fix it.
