Default Removing drivers seat cushion

I need to replace my drivers seat because of a broken seat mount.

I found a used seat on eBay but there is a rip in the seat cushion. If I bought the seat, can if just swap the seat cushion with my old seat? If so, how difficult would that be to do?

This diagram is from the 2008 RX350 Lexus Service Manual. I think is would also apply to the RX330.

Thank you for posting that. After taking the seat out and looking at it, it does appear that the seats are different. I hope I'm wrong.

Do you know if the seats for the rx330 are interchangeable with the rx350?

It appears they have different part numbers.

You might try including a search for RX400h seats.

From what I'm seeing online it looks like the 400h seat is compatable with the 350 and not the 330.

Thanks for posting this. I have seat cushions that are in bad shape and looking to replace them as well.

1.) do I have to remove the entire seat out of the vehicle to replace the cushions and
2.) is there any danger of setting off an air bag or something in the seat
3.) will replacing the cushion affect the heating module in the vehicle

I saw some seat covers on eBay for the generation of my vehicle (2009) and ordered them hoping they would fit. I would like to replace them myself or should I go to an auto upholstery repair place.
