I have a 2004 RX330 and about a year ago, my cell phone got jammed in the drink holder, and trying to remove it, without knowing what I was doing, I applied a little too much pressure, and snapped the door mechanism apart. The door layers are separated, the veneer on the console is chipped, and in general, you can’t close the door, as everything is just out of alignment.

It looks like it needs a new door, door mechanism, and console veneer component.

I am looking for an affordable solution to replace the door, door mechanism and chipped veneer. My dealer wanted to replace the entire console at something like $1600.00. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I think $1600 is about what the dealer quoted my wife when we needed a replacement coin holder, lol. Apparently the console parts are not available separately.
