Enabling access to the Music Folders, Phone Dialing, Calendar and Maintenance Menus while Driving the Lexus ES-350
Hi
I have jst bought my 2008 Lexus RX 350 and joined the forum and want to activate greyed out Menus on my RX 350 from this HOW-To-Guide, but can't see the pics of this HOW-To-Guide. When I click on them it says URL is not available. Sonartech had the thread earlier on the forum, Can anyone help me to get those pics. Thanks in advance.

I have a 2008 RX350 and got a Nav Override unit from Prestigious Society. It's not cheap and was relatively difficult for me to install because it requires a wire to be run from behind the glovebox all the way to the GPS unit under the rear cargo area. http://www.prestigioussociety.com/?page_id=138
When I want to override the Nav lockout because the car is moving, I press a remote button attached to the Prestigious Society unit that temporarily disables the GPS (icon on the map stops moving). It's probably possible to achieve the same thing with a $2 toggle switch from Radio Shack.
I wish I didn't by the Lexus navigation system option because it's expensive and vastly inferior to Google Maps, Waze and even Apple's iPhone map application.
