Default Toyota Lexus keys?

This is a question for all car manufacturers. "Why can't you make it easier to have our vehicles keyed alike?"

Our family has 4 Lexus/Toys. I drive a 2011 RAV4, my wife has a 2009 Lexus RX350, our son drives a 2003 RX300, and his wife has a 2011 Prius. Wouldn't it be easier for the husband/wife teams to have the same key and remote opener for their cars? I realize the key combinations are limited to a few combinations, but the code for the chips is almost unlimited. Wouldn't doing this make life simpler and encourage brand loyalty?

I'm just saying...

Probably because like using the same password, if one is compromised or sold, than you have a theft issue.

Sure but that's not the only matter to consider.

Are there stats indicating that Toyota and Lexus brand loyalty are suffering from not implementing this? You can't just assume that giving in to your preference would result in a broad change.
