2008 Lexus rx350 headlight housing ?s
Hello guys this is my first post. Well I searched around but without any luck. Well I have a 2008 rx350 with the standard headlights h11 I believe. I would like to have the projector headlights. My question is: Will projectors housings off of a 2005 rx330 work on my rx350 since they are both the 2nd generation models? They look Identical in pictures, but I'm not sure if there are any differences between the two. Amazon is saying that they are not compatible, but I figured I'd ask here instead. Do u have to use the factory ballasts/ bulbs or can u put after market bulbs in instead of the factory hid? Is there anything else that may be needed to complete the install?
Thanks guys
Thanks guys

I purchased a set off ebay that supposedly came from an 09 w/AFS and they were plug and play into the wiring harness on a halogen equipped model of same MY. No AFS of course but the HID work fine. I believe you need to find a set from 2007-2009 MY since I remember reading on here the plug for the harness changed with the engine change to a 3.5L. Also the set I bought came with bulbs and ballasts included.

Thanks for the responses. How much should I expect a pair of 07-09 projector housings with bulbs should cost?
And what exactly is afs?

So when you make a left or right turn the headlights move in that direction. Also if you are carrying something heavy in the back the AFS moves the headlights in downward direction so the headlight does not blind other drivers or illuminate trees.

We have AFS in my wife's 08 RX350. To me it doesn't make much difference when using the AFS at night. So I just turn it off, one less thing to break and the housing is not exactly cheap when it comes to replacement.
