Less leg room in new RX?
Went to local dealer this morning and sat in the new RX on the showroom floor. Made sure the seat was all the way back (driver's), and that it was in it's lowest position, slightly reclined the seat back ,and then climbed in. Much to my disappointment, it does not have as much leg room as my 2000 RX.
This is truly a beautifuly SUV. Lexus did a wonderful job. Love all the bell's and whistles. However, I won't be trading in mine for the new model. I need a little more leg room, not less. The head, sholder and hip room felt about the same which was O.K..
I really feel bad, I had my heart set on the new one. I guess I am just too long legged.

All the specs I've seen are showing an increase of 1.8 inches in front legroom.
Specs (From http://www.lexus.com):
RX 330: Legroom (front/rear): 42.5/36.4 in
RX 300: Legroom (front/rear): 40.7/36.4 in

I read the spec's too! I sat in it. Still has less leg room. Nobody could be more disappointed about this then me.
