Default AC charge/pressures question for you guys

I know this is a bit taboo but hear me out. 2005 RX330

Ambient temp is 90 w/ about 31% humidity
My high side is 270psi , rises to 280 then falls back to 270
My low side is steady at 46psi

This is at idle and 2k rpms
Fan on low center vent I'm at 43 degrees
Fan on high center vent I'm at 60 degrees!

I'm very well versed in everything automotive aside from the ac systems. I understand the basics and how each device functions but that is it. I don't know how one will effect the other adversely. My pressures seem good at my given temp but I'm not sure what is going on. Compressor is on as it should be and condenser is free from any debris or bent fins.

Lower pressure line cool (Not cold) High pressure line hot

Can anyone throw me a bone?

Thanks much

Dave

I recommend asking on one of the auto AC forums. Hopefully they have the expertise you need.

My two cents, pressures on a R134A are not an accurate indication of your system being properly charged with refrigerant. The only way to determine that you have the correct amount of refrigerant is to pump down the system and then charge the required amount. That is where I would start if I was having cooling issues.

For a 90 degree day, I think your high and low pressure readings are fine. The two common AC failures for RXs seem to be the interior temp sensor located on the lower dash by your knee, or the blend doors. Since you have one vent showing a good temp (43 deg), I am going to say one of your blend door servos is bad. Do a search on this forum for lots of posts on this failure, good info is available if you do a search!

Electric fan failures can also cause problems, make sure your fans are running any time the AC is on.
