The only thing extra installed in the car is a plug on the floor for a lighter has a plug that will allow me to plug my computer or phone in to charge. I leave it unhooked unless I am dringing a distnce and I assume it will only draw or drain the system if it is plugded in.
I got the car back late in the afternoon yesterday. They replaced the battery with an upgrade and gave me full credit for the one I bought in July of 2020. They also installed a tender which will make me feel safer if I am not driving it for a few days. Right now, I have decided to see what happens with the new battery without plugging in the tender. I am really not convinced I need it since they say there are no drains coming from the electrical systems. The only way I know to prove that is try it for a few weeks and see what happens. It is the only way I know to prove to myself there is nothing lurking in the electrical system and draining the battery. The battery is an upgrade from the one I had. It is an interstate IBS MTP 24 F and the older battery was a Diehard gold series. I have only myself to depend on. If this shows a problem I will plug in the the newly installed tender and it that won't resolve then I will resort to Lexus which is 2 hours away from me. Thank you all for replying to me today.
