RX 350 Electrical Problem PLEASE HELP!
I am new to the forum and the new owner of a 2008 Rx 350. Any help with the below issue would be greatly appreciated.
I purchased a 2008 Rx 350 from craiglist this past weekend with 175k miles. The car drives great. I purchased the car from out of town and around 200 miles into the trip back home the ABS, Brake, Traction, and Airbag lights came on. Also, the A/C compressor turned off and the A/C controls became unresponsive. The temperature gauge was shifting from flat (like a loss of power to it) back to its normal temp. I have done some research and read that the brake, ABS, and traction lights, among others, can come on and off from a faulty brake light switch, but could it also cause these other random issues? Also note that the individual I purchased the car from had just installed a new battery. Could the alternator or new battery be the cause?
After getting home and letting the car sit I have been driving this week and the lights have all been off and everything normal. I was going to see if anyone knew a possible cause and if I should pursue fixing it or cut my losses. Thanks and any help is greatly appreciated!!

First I would ask if the previous owner saw these kind of issues before. If not, since the battery was recently installed I would check if the battery terminal connections are loose.

I am experiencing crazy dash light issues, marking lights that don't turn off, and battery drain. Did the brake light switch but didn't fix. Battery is 1 yr old and will get it checked.
