loss of driver control of rear windows, all sunroof buttons do the same thing!
Hey guys. I have had my RX330 for almost ten years now. It has never missed a beat, until now. The battery finally went flat (after 9 years!) so it has changed by a workshop. And then weird electrical symptoms have been present, specifically:
1. Driver side control can no longer control the two rear windows. The rear window controls on the rear doors by each window still work, just not via the centralised switches on driver door.
2. All four sunrooft controls now do exactly the same thing - it doesn't matter if I am pressing and holding the slide-open or slide-shut or tilt-open or tilt-shut button, all four buttons, if held, will cycle the sunroof from slide open to shut to tilt open to tilt shut and then slide open again and shut again and on it on it goes.... this makes it quite hard to stop the sunroof at the exact point where it's completely shut with water-tightness. If I just press it momentarily, the sunroof just moves a little bit (in this same cycle) and stops.
Any idea what gremlin is causing this?

The windows and sunroof have to relearn the endpoints. Go to each window switch individually and raise and lower the windows until the light on the switch stops blinking.
This often happens after a battery change.
