Engine light flashing

Can anyone suggest what shud be my next step when my engine light starts flashing in 2007 rx350

take it to a mechanic or shop. Don't drive it.

I had that happen to me back in May. It turned out to be and ignition coil. Stop by an auto parts store and they will read the OBD trouble codes for free. Codes for ignition coils are P030x where x = cylinder number.
