Default four way side mirror actuator switch

FOR A 2004 RX330, i need help understanding how to get the 4way mirror positioning switch out for cleaning or replacement. My side mirrors work for verticals adjusting but not side-to-side. The driver selection buttons on the driver door work for each driver except for the same inability to do side-to-side (inland out) adjusting. Thoughts anyone?

Smile Side view mirrors switch

I have the same vehicle(2004 RX330) and the same problem. Up until recently the horizontal adjustment worked sporadically but now don't work at all. My guess is either a faulty switch or contacts that need to be cleaned, so knowing how to remove switch without damaging it or cover would be appreciated.
Thank you for any information.

Same thing here. Weather gets cooler, the mirrors work flawlessly. Weird.

Just purchased a 05 neither of the mirrors work in any direction. They don't angle downward when in reverse either. Anybody have any ideas?

Default probable switch problem

Because all functions on both mirrors are not working it's definitely the switch or power to it.

Did anyone got a reply? I am having the same problem with my side mirrors. I cant change them using the switch and wondering how to remove the switch without damaging the dash or the switch and test it . Do I need to go further and remove the mirrors to check the motors inside the mirrors? Anyone who have gone through these problems, some hints will be greatly appreciated.

Any idea how to test this? It looks like the passenger mirror tries (ever so slightly) to move up and down. But that's all I get on either.

Also, the auto angle down in reverse is not working either.
