Floor Mats for RX330
Looking into getting rubber floor mats and a rubber cargo mat liner for our RX330.
Anyone have any recommendations? I've looked at mats.com (weathertech) and seem pretty decent.
Thanks

Since I have the light gray interior I have placed clear mats over my Lexus mats and they look pretty good. That way I can still see the original mats and not have to worry about getting the light color getting dirty. You can order mats from autoanything that are cut to fit, but I just went to the local hardware store, bought some clear carpet runner and cut them to fit.

Cargo Mat
After some searching, I found that WeatherTech seemed to be the only company that had RX 330 rubber/vinyl cargo mats IN STOCK. I asked a few other companies, and they said they wouldn't have anything until the fall.
It fits just right, with a decent lip to prevent spills from spreading.

Weather Tech mats do not fit right. I have a set in my RX and they are ok, but not right. Talked to Weather Tech and they are aware of the problem. They are comming out with the correct mats in a few months. They are really great people and told me that they would send me the correct set when they come out. The best part is, they told me to keep and use mine untill the correct ones arrive. The rear mats fit correctly, but the fronts are not quite right. A utility knife will probably fix most of the problems untill I get my new ones. They are great mats! Skip

Weathertech is where I got my info from last Thursday. They thought the 330 was the same inside as the 300, Was told that 330 mats will be ready in about 90 days. I believe that you can get clear mats from the Lexus dealer. Skip

The Best Floor Mats...
Note: The floor mats for the 300 (2002) and 330 are the same, as is the cargo liner. I didn't believe it either until I order these and installed them in the 330. They fit like a glove (I left my carpet mats in place) and set these over them...

The best mats for the RX-330 are from Husky liner...
They're called floor liners and they are custom molded to fit the RX-300/330.
These are NOT the generic all weather mats that look like crap in a nice car...
These are available in Grey, Black, and Tan.
Here's the product URL...

Here's the Lexus URL...

They just released the rear set for the 330, got mine today!
You can order them direct from the number on the Web page, (800) 344-8759 or from an on-line retailer.
They pay shipping via Fed-Ex...

I think the the WeatherTech do compare with the Husky Liners.
HOWEVER, the Husky Liners are without doubt the the more
professional looking of the two liners. The tread pattern looks
serious, if you can call it that. In comparison, the WeatherTechs
tread patterns look sorta cheesy -- one's a grid pattern and the
other is a grooved ridge pattern to help contain liquids. In fact,
the WeatherTechs look quite minivan or soccer mom.

In our RX300 we have the Weathertech cargo liner (I love it - fits well, looks great) and floor mats.
The rear mats do not fit without some trimming. But the biggest complaint I have is they are 2-piece, whereas some others are full side-to-side mats. This isn't an issue until you have 3 sets of muddy feet in the back, adn the mat under the middel set of feet isn't covered at all.!!!
The front mats are quite effective, and they look very good, but the coverage could be a bit better. I am not sure these are custom-fit for the RX either. After a brutal winter here in eastern Canada, we have salt stains on the passenger-side carpet where the mats were a bit too short.
We looked at the Husky front floor liners, and bought the Weathertech becuase the Weathertech's were in stock, and frankly we thought the husky's look like they were better suited to a Ford F-150 pick-up

Husky vs Weathertech...
F-150 Pickup, I live in Michigan (home of the F-150s) and I wouldn't think of putting anything that could be used in, on , or near an F-150 in, on, or near my Lexus...
Did you actually see the Husky, or just the photos on the WEB page? I agree from the photos, they look pretty bad, but they look wonderful in the vehicle and the cargo mat is just as nice. The dealer even said they look better than any they've seen...
Also, they're all (front, rear, and cargo) in stock now... or were 2 weeks ago.
One piece rears and they fit NICE!
No places for stuff to escape!
I had the Weathertechs in my MDX and have them in my IS-300 now (Husky not available).
I have the Husky in my RX-330, and had them in my RX-300 a few years ago.
I'm the last person in the world who would want a tacky looking product in my Lexus! Diamond plate (the texture on the mats) is generally not something you think of puting in or near a Lexus! But it really is very subtle and looks nice with the Lexus interior.
