That's the kind of treatment that drives me up the wall. You got blown off, without the slightest scent of truthful and/or helpful response.

 

When I got my GS400 in '98, I was allotted three free navigation upgrades. I guess corporate decided to change things a bit. I've updated twice, by the way.

 

Wonder if it would help if owners complained to Lexus about the CAUTION screen that appears when you first turn your RX on. I find that very annoying you have to push the button to agree every time. If the new update eliminates this sign on, I'll even pay more for it!

 

You can blame the lawyers for that nice feature.

 

Just bought a used 2005 RX330 with nav and love it. The car is superb. That said, however, I only paid 20K for it. I didn't pay $2,600.00 to upgrade a 50k vehicle that makes me puch "I Agree" like I was a kindergartener everytime I start it, that will regularly cost me $300.00 to update. Had I paid full retail new to be treated that way, I'd be upset too...
