Recently bought 2007 RX350 with NAV system. Club Lexus Post search found i'm only the 400,000th owner to scratch my head asking WTF would they Bluetooth the phone, but now allow Bluetooth audio streaming?
So i'd like to add Bluetooth streaming to the OEM radio/NAV like everyone else in the world except the Lexus engineers. I am looking at the Vais SL3B http://www.vaistech.com/product/sl3b-l/
As well as the Audiovox Mediabridge (AMBR-1500-TOY)
Will be installing in driveway myself.
Anyone have any suggestions, recommendations or comments?

Installed the Vais myself. Not sure how it compares but connecting is easy etc. etc. Only thing I don't like is that sometimes if I am trying to stream from another app, it will force something from my music library to play and I have to restart/push play on whatever else I am using for audio (podcast or pandora etc). Essentially it tries to play the music library first and foremost and tries to over ride any other app until you force the app to play.

We've been happy with the USA Spec BT45-TOY. However, don't overlook the other existing threads on the topic as well.

Thanks for the replies. I went with the Vais SL3B.
Installation was pretty easy. Another thread mentioned one of the harness connectors not clicking closed, and they left it as a pressure-fit. I had the same problem, but I used a pair of Vice-Grips to squeeze the two together until they clicked.
It has worked as advertised.

Installed this into my car: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/32568...d=RvyKoinnzcoN
Everything is plug & play so it's straight forward, they include everywire you need. It's an android tablet essentially for the car so you can use it like a tablet as well as audio streaming & calls.

Do you or the company have either?

I don't but it's very simple, straight plug and play. Pretty sure I followed a guide online to remove the stock radio unit then went in reverse to install this unit.
There is actually a connector there now that I think about it where you have have to install a 10ohm resister on pins 9&10- I think. The resistor legs can simply be bent and plugged into the connector, electrical tape to secure it.

How would the average DIY person know it needed that resistor? If you google that company you can find the unit all over the internet...even on Amazon. On Alibaba the price is about $160 with relatively quick ship.
