My leather seats looked dull, dry & in general appeared to have been neglected by previous owners for many years.
I purchased the Mothers VLR product which improved the seats texture drastically, although I imagine the UV index in the Land Down Under is much greater than in the Great White North.
I would recommend posting some photos of your seats also, CL members can offer some recommendations.

Thanks for your reply. Mine actually look the same as yours. Tired and 'loose'. Rather that purchasing replacement leather panels from Lexus, I am actually looking at replacing the Tan seats front and back with a good set of 2nd-hand Black seats from a RX400h. I really like the Black / Tan combination, and the front seats come with heaters installed. I have added the heater switches to my front panel, and it will be easy for an auto electrician to wire them up. That's why I am wanting to see if anyone else has done something similar on a minimum budget. I think this is the best and most cost-effective option.

Loose, yes, tired, not sure what that means although I feel they held up well for a 12 year old vehicle....
tears or rips would be more disappointing. That said, since I have other small mechanical issues to deal with, I prefer to focus on them.
Also, spending on light cosmetic issues would mean that I would struggle more financially if some other mechanical issues turn up.
Lexus seats in Canada could cost up the $600. in the same condition as mine, if I can find some.
Besides, my wife would be
& say " There was nothing wrong with those seats"
