Telescopic Steering Wheel
I searched some previous posts, nothing concrete for RX330 Telescopic Steering Wheel horrific squealing intermittently, mainly in warmer temperatures.
I have owned the RX330 for 5 months this never occurred previously, now finally the temperature reached 75 F in the Great White North & obviously much warmer in a locked up vehicle.
Place the key in the ignition to hear an unbelievable loud squeal as the telescopic feature does it's thing. This will not happen in the morning when the temperature is more towards 45-50 F.
Other than that, it functions fine.
Any ideas for lubrication or adjustments, intermittent issues are always more difficult to solve.

Ok thnx, will try it and see if it works…..also thinking about doing the lighted C/C stalk while I’m in there. Read your write-up but still a little unclear about the wiring.

You need power from this wire. I stripped some of it back and soldered the CC stalk’s illumination wire to it.

Pole Position
For the telescoping/tilt column, I just set the wheel all the way out & down & then removed the fuse. That way we don't have to deal with the wheel moving every time. Would be great if the column had a little more telescoping & tilt thou.....
