Angry need help rx350 wngine swap between towing otion

hi guys, I'm having a problem with my 2007 RX350: #1 cylinder lost compression and the car is 323k miles already. I intend to do an engine swap with the donor is only 90k mile but my is with towing option(with oil cooler) and the donor isn't. My question is anyone do the engine swap like this and how and what need to be done for this job? really appriciate for your help in advance.

I've never done an engine swap but I would venture that you'll have to swap the oil filter housing,

Shouldn't be, remove the housing from the replacement engine (outside of the engine compartment should be easy.) Once the original engine is outside the vehicle, pull the housing off it and install it on the replacement engine. As you'll be doing both engines while outside of the car it shouldn't be difficult at all.

Thanks, any specilal precautions? Are you 100% sure it's doable because the engine is not here and when I buy it it's not refundable.

Best check with the dealer but that is the only difference I am aware of.

So, I've finished the swap. The engine itself are big different. Right below the engine block there is a kinda alluminum sub block to mount the oil pan and oil filter housing that you have to swap between the engine and also the coolant inlet from the top of the engine. Too much work so I end up just a straight swap because I don't need to tow any thing.
Practicaly just a straight forward don't need to modify anything and the car run good.
Hope this will help someone when facing this situation.
