Default Changed the wrong wheel bearing now what?

So my wifes 04 330 was getting progressively louder. It got louder when turning right and quieter while turning left and somewhere in the middle when driving straight. Easy fix right? I replaced the front left bearing and still have the same exact noise. So does this mean the rear left is bad? I would normally think theres no way it could be the right front but i just had a VW do that and the only thing that worked was to replace the other front side. Any way else to test these bearings? I would hate to guess wrong again. Thanks

I got louder when you turn right because you're putting extra load. When you turn left the load is taken off the right side bearing. You replaced the wrong side.

You have that backwards, when you turn left you load up the right side suspension. When you turn right you load up the left side suspension.

Yeah thats what i thought, so i have it right but still it didnt fix the noise. I dont mind replacing another one (although they arent very fun) but i would like to replace the right one and have the noise go away

Get the vehicle up off the ground. Grab the top and bottom of the tire and try and rock it in/out. Also, try to spin the wheel and feel for roughness.

Put on a lift. Start, turn off stability control, run it up to the speed where you hear the noise. Probe around with this.
Amazon Amazon

That is how the dealer finds bad wheel bearings.

I have tried rocking the wheel but i dont think i have ever found play in the wheel by doing this. I also dont have a lift although this seems like it would really help to try and find which bearing is bad. Maybe i could find someone with a lift to try and perform this.
