I honestly think that you could get better gas mileage in the 350... my 300 for sure amd maybe also the 330 are very underpowered for the size of the car, and hence the high consumption...

At 4,065 lbs, it's a heavy vehicle for city driving, hence lower gas millage in general...
throw out the spare tire, back & passenger seats & a few other things should help increase MPG.
According to Lexus via the vin number, the RX330 I own sold for $46,000. US in 2005. I suppose Lexus figured if you can pay that amount for the vehicle, paying for fuel shouldn't be too much of a problem.
Considering the fact the most I invested including the purchase of the RX330 is less than $4,000. & there is only the Power Tailgate that doesn't function, I really shouldn't complain about the MPG.
I got much more than my money's worth.
