Same here, although now towards the summer months here in Canada the MPG has improved slightly.
I have read on a consumer report the RX330 was tested as a new vehicle at around 14 MPG combined City/ Highway, which is what I am at presently, no CEL & with mostly city driving
Winter, worse, 10- 12 MPG.
After changing spark plugs, air filter, cleaned the map sensor, filling with Premium 91 & more....
at this point, I am living with the fact the RX330 isn't as fuel efficient as a Toyota Corolla.

You should be able to get at least 20 mpg. I do get 24 mpg, all highway driving.

I usually get 20-22 MPG on my 2004 AWD in mixed driving using regular (87 octane) gas.
And the RX will *never* be as fuel efficient as a Corolla, even at it's best.
Maybe a faulty O2 sensor? Have you had the codes checked?

Now I know why you chose LuckyPants for your CL Member name...
20-22 MPG.
I was actually being sarcastic with the Corolla comment, no CEL codes, I did verify the O2 sensors with Techstream, all appears normal.

Well I own a 2004 RX 300 awd ( I guess the 2nd gen 300 wasn't sold in the USA ) , And I get, at very best being ultra careful on the gas, 24 mpg in the highway...... With mixed driving not paying attention to how I drive, I get around 18 mpg....
Frankly I was expecting low gas mileage before buying , but not as low as this.... I've Always owned High displacement gas cars but this is my first suv.... I guess the mileage is killed by weight and aerodynamics !

Oddly enough after removing an Ignition Coil due to a PO304 code & putting it back, details here:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...0304-code.html
Now I'm getting 19 MPG City instead of 14 MPG City, , also, I did disconnect the negative of the battery to take out the Ignition Coil.

although the MPG was severally affected.

I just decided yesterday to replace the Ignition Coil for cylinder 4 & change the 3 plugs for Cylinder 2, 4 & 6 since I finally managed to pry the stuck boot off the spark plug.
Since I disconnected the negative from battery, the RX330 reset again, haven't driven enough for evaluating the MPG again, as yet.
Hopefully it will be at least acceptable, I'll post in a few days with the result. No codes for misfires.

I get about 22 mpg on mostly highway driving (1 mpg lower with the A/C on). That being said, it is not unusual for my mileage to drop below 15 mpg when driving in stop and go traffic in cities.
