2006 RX330 OBD Pinout
Dear RX330 owners: Can someone please do me a favor and check or take a picture of your OBD connector showing which location has conductors and which are blank? It'll be even more helpful if you can get a view from the back. If you have or know where I can find electrical schematic diagram for the OBD connector that will help too (I've seen generic wiring diagram online, but given the problem I'm having and described below I need confirmation specifically for RX330. If you've had any experience connecting Techstream to 2006 RX330 that will be appreciated too.
Why I need this:
My pinouts are as follows:
RX330
4,5,6,7
12,13,14,15,16
RX450h
4,5,6,7, 8
12,13,14,16
Why I need this:
- I have trouble codes that I'm sure Techstream can help greatly in troubleshooting but it simply refuses to connect.
- I'm not able to connect Techstream to my RX330 although it works fine on RX450h and the generic OBD mode works on 2004 Mercedes ML350. I've tried different cables/VIMs and settings to no avail.
- My OBD connector (I'm the second owner of the RX330) looks fairly roughed up for a connector that is sparingly used so I wonder if the previous owner had any kind of service on it and perhaps some pins are miswired
My pinouts are as follows:
RX330
4,5,6,7
12,13,14,15,16
RX450h
4,5,6,7, 8
12,13,14,16

I downloaded Oracle virtualbox https://www.virtualbox.org/ to my laptop and installed Win Xp there to run techstream on my laptop. Everything is working great like this .Before i did this i messed like 2weeks on win 8,1 and never get techstream to work.

Thanks. I tried Win 10, 7 and XP with same result. The drivers were easier to install on Windows XP, which is what I have been using, but still can't connect to RX330.
I noticed that my K-Line (pin 7) is around 3V when key off (the L-line stays at 12V). When I turn key on the K-line jumps to 12V. Does anybody knows if 3V with key off is normal for pin 7?

DLC3 Pinout for OBD2
This DLC3 pinout looks correct for both RX330 and RX350 years 2004-2008(and maybe 2009) best I can tell.
Traced everything out and came up with same results- see pic below.
PS- if anyone finds any mistakes plz let me know so I can fix and if anyone has more info on this please share.
