Message the guy, he sent it to me in the UK, no reason why he wouldn't send to you in the US.
I'd also ordered the splitter cable, when I first fitted mine the nav screen wouldn't work, had to fit this to get it working.

I purchased one of the Lsailt kits nearly two years ago. Back then they did Carplay, but not wireless Carplay. I thought I saw information on what module to purchase to add wireless Carplay, but it is buried in the thread. Has anyone purchased just the wireless module to add on to an older system lately? Can you send me in the right direction?

I’ve had it for two years now without any issues. Complete wireless Bluetooth. Guaranteed to put a smile on your face!

I see that Grom has the Lexus 2014-2020 VLite VT2 CarPlay® Android® Auto Infotainment System for pre-order at $430 until February 5. Anyone had experiences with these systems? I am just looking to add CarPlay support with no stretched icons to my 2017 RX450h and not looking for the full system.

I have a 08 Rx350 AWD with Nav. Beside the kit, do I need a split cable ? If so, do you have a link ?

I installed the RoadTop a few weeks ago on 2017 Lexus RX450h. The system is fine. My first power up, the screen had a flicker on the last couple of rows. It seemed the background image was trying to peek through. I switch the DIP switches to the next option and flicker was gone. Had to tweak the system settings to lower the top limit a bit so it would not cut pixels.
Overall, the system does what I want. The audio quality is good, the phone calls are good, the map is good, it connects wirelessly every time. Screen display is good without stretched icons. Siri actually understands me and gives prompt directions. Installation was quite straightforward. The instructions were a little off in the english translation, but readable.
Drawbacks:
- Joystick is very difficult to control. Right to left is the easiest movement. But it is hard to move to the next icon. Tried different settings and their suggestions, but not much difference between them.
- Every now and then, the image switches to the factory system screen with a bluetooth phone not paired error. I had removed my bluetooth paring of the phone from the car's factory system before installation of RoadTop. Pressing down the menu gets it back to Car Play.
- Cannot hear the radio at the same time as direction guidance since the CarPlay uses AUX channel. So I have to choose either radio or directions by switching the audio mode from AUX to FM Radio.
- I have the larger screen set to auto change to the 360 cameras. The split screen just shows whatever button I pressed last from the factory system. It would be really nice to have navigation on the split screen, but impossible due to the 2 mode operation: CarPlay or factory system.
For $200 it was a good buy. Wanted to get BeatSonic, but their $750 price was excessive.
I placed the control unit at the foremost part of the console next to the passenger feet. Cables were long enough to reach there and easy to pull out if something needed reconfiguration.
Wireless CarPlay is very nice. I have a MagSafe holder from Mighty Mount that powers the phone while connected to CarPlay, so it does not drain the battery: https://www.themightymount.com/colle...pro-car-mounts

Roadtop installed can’t figure out the AirPlay mirroring yet though not too fussed about that really, perhaps a software update required. Needed to go back in there after initial install as needed to add the joystick extension cable and hence flick 1 ON the toggle switch settings too, think you’ll know if you need that as you’ll hear the joystick / remote lever interacting with Lexus UI simultaneously whilst navigating the CarPlay menu post install and… if you hear that, you certainly do not want to be there. After installing the joystick extension cable, navigating the CarPlay menu is much better but still mainly stick to left and right movements though.
Anyone figured out what the ‘CarPlay Optimisation setting’ in the Roadtop settings does if you change it? I haven’t bothered interacting with that setting and just left it default.

On the RoadTop, now callers are informing me of a lot of echo during phone calls. What settings have others used to improve the echo cancelation?
On my first set of calls, it was pretty good. Now the caller volume is low and if I increase the volume, the caller's get a lot of echo.
